...Okay I just finished my second read through of the series with Dance of Dragons, and the Stark still are my clear favorites. Though the Targaryens are a very close second, in particular Danny and her story really speak to me. Anyways, here's hoping their will be some Night Watch campaign action, the idea of playing as Jon seem really awesome. ....Plus the thought of raking the Lannister with archer fire and sword blows is a rather appealing thought.

The Targaryens are the greatest house, the Dragon Kings and their mighty Dragons. Drogon, Rhaegal, Viserion who are still alive, Balerion, Vhagar, Meraxes and all the others who are no longer living. They defy gods and man by wedding brother to sister, madness may be a nasty side-effect but the blood of the dragon remains pure.

Though, strangely, I do not support Dany in the novels.
I support Aegon VI! Long live the Dragon King, the son of Rhaegar the Last Dragon, and the true King of the Seven Kingdoms.
Dany comes off as a slut in the novels to me.

She definitely comes off as a naive slut.

I always thought she had an interesting plot and almost a fairly unique story to tell. Especially since all her hair gets burned off like three times.

Those Targs are weirdos, I tell ya.

I feel that Dany is the typical naive little girl when it comes to love, similar to Sansa just with different tastes in their ideal man. For Sansa its a knight with gallantry, honour and remarkable hair. For Dany its a huge tough guy with a take no crap attitude but who'll protect their woman with their life. Both Drogo and Daario fall into that category. Doesn't matter to her that Daario is a sellsword for whom treachery comes remarkably easy and quickly.

Ironically both have met the men who most exemplify what they want. For Sansa its Tyrion, but she can't get past his appearance. And for Dany its Jorah, but again, appearance.

I just hope it doesn't take another 5 years to make the next book. I started reading the series this spring and have read all 5 of the books and have enjoyed them quite a bit. There are very few series that hold my attention for very long but I could not put these down.

I know I know old post.
But hey that's unfair. Both Gandalf and Boromir dies!
Interesting though that Sean Bean plays both Boromir and Ned Stark and well, as in most his movies, he dies.
I feel for him, at least in the Sharpe series he stays alive quite well.
